Welcome to the page for the Precious In His Sight Preschool at LBC! Families are one of the things we value most at LBC and we are so grateful to have the opportunity to provide this service to the families of Lewisport and Hancock County. Our preschool serves children who have turned three by the beginning of the school year, up to children who have not yet started kindergarten. We meet Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:00-11:15.
Yes. LBC Preschool has been licensed since its opening in 2008. LBC Childcare has been licensed since its addition to the program in 2020.
LBC uses the Jesus Story Book Bible and curriculum for Bible time each day. We also use Wee Learn and Creative Curriculum for our large group activities and daily interest areas.
Precious in His Sight received the highest award rating in the KY All Stars Quality rating system of 5 stars in 2018 when the KY Stars program transformed into the KY All STARS program as a result to the Race to the Top funding program. Precious in His Sight has maintained a 5 STAR status since 2018.

A child is considered enrolled when registrations forms, payment forms, and an up-to-date immunization certificate is turned into the director of Precious in His Sight and the registration fee is paid.
We do not accept KY CCAP at this time, but please contact the director. The director will gladly discuss what your needs are and help you find a program that fits your needs
Scholarships are only available upon request due to financial hardship after the child is enrolled in the program. We understand that sometimes families endure hardships like job loss, death, and many other things. We want to minister to families in those times difficult times. These are awarded by the Precious in His Sight board after a request is made from the director.
